How Do You Use Tarot in Your Sessions?

People often associate Tarot with occult or dark magic. The cards were originally created as a game and they later evolved into a tool for self-discovery. Arthur Waite, the co-creator of the most well-known deck of Tarot cards, knew that people would use the deck for divination, but this was never the intended purpose of the deck. He was far more interested in opening people’s minds and helping them to achieve some higher purpose using Tarot. This is why Tarot became strongly linked with Qabalah, an amazing discipline with the goal of perfecting the Self.

Tarot has a lot to offer in terms of self-discovery. The cards connect with Archetypes and they can be said to portray every imaginable human thought, emotion, experience and personality. They are a mirror that reflect back who you are and they provide a gateway into your inner world. Sometimes it is difficult to talk about how you are feeling or to know why you are experiencing a particular emotion. Tarot can help to clarify what is inside of you to facilitate amazing insights for healing more quickly and easily.

If you want to explore use of Tarot for self-discovery, this can be a part of our sessions. You do not need to know anything about Tarot in order for it to be helpful for you. However, if you are familiar with Tarot or are already using Tarot in your life, this type of work will help to bring your personal practice to a whole different level.

Clarity, Support, and Empowerment through Tarot.

I have had amazing results using Tarot to help people go deeper in their work with Self. I wanted to find a way to use my skills as a therapist in combination with my skills as a Reader in order to provide something for people who are looking for an alternative to traditional self-work.

This approach is Tarot + Psychology (see Blog section for more). Tarot can provide “messages” that your subconscious Self wants you to know about what is going on with you or the people around you. It is like when you have a dream and do not know what it means. Your subconscious attempts to communicate with you through dreams in the same way it attempts to communicate with your through Tarot. As a Tarot professional, I can help you to unlock and to discover these communications from your subconscious Self thereby providing deep insights and increased understanding to help you on your Path.
